You will represent the company as a trusted authority in discussions with prospects, helping them understand how our solutions address their challenges and create value. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape our services, leveraging data insights, market trends, and emerging fraud patterns. In this role, you’ll work closely with prospective customers through proofs of concept, data analysis, and consultation to ensure their seamless adoption and success with Fideo’s services.

Additionally, you’ll lead demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to showcase Fideo’s capabilities while supporting technical inquiries and developing resources like documentation to empower our customers. Staying proactive and curious, you’ll identify new threats, fraud behaviors, and industry trends, sharing your insights with internal teams to drive innovative features and detection strategies. Working alongside go-to-market teams, engineering, and senior leadership, you’ll influence company priorities and deliver impactful solutions. Finally, you’ll engage with the broader fraud prevention and cybercrime community to gain competitive insights and learn how other organizations are tackling similar challenges.

Their technical expertise includes experience with coding and working with APIs, enabling them to bridge the gap between customer needs and technical implementation effectively.

This individual is a strategic thinker who brings familiarity with fraud prevention, the financial services industry, and related trends. They are highly organized and capable of managing proofs of concept and testing activities with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Constantly seeking out new methods and data sources, they are motivated by the opportunity to enhance Fideo’s products and stay ahead of emerging threats. A collaborative problem solver at heart, they work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, contributing to innovative solutions that drive meaningful results for customers and the company alike.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Proactively explore and analyze data sources to identify opportunities for product development and fraud detection improvements.
  • Recommend, source, test, and integrate new data to enhance Fideo’s offerings and inform strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineers to incorporate novel data and optimize product features.
  • Provide customer and prospect support by demonstrating products, addressing technical inquiries, shepherding proofs-of-concept and tailoring solutions to company needs.
  • Create presentations, dashboards, and training materials to communicate insights and educate stakeholders, including Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Conduct simple statistical analysis to uncover actionable insights and validate hypotheses.
  • Partner with go-to-market and engineering teams to align on strategies, workflows, and integration paths.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, assisting with live customer account activities and ensuring smooth product adoption.
 

Requirements:

  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of working within fraud and/or cybercrime
  • You have excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • You have field experience working with Fideo’s target customers
  • You possess attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills
  • You are creative and enjoy solving problems
  • You are curious. You look for the root cause of issues and are a life learner
  • You are collaborative and love working with people, whiteboarding, and designing hard problems
  • You have got grit and recognize that the harder things in life are more rewarding
  • You are empathetic for both customers and team members, but also consumers and the dangers they face regarding fraud and other cyber crime, and are passionate about addressing these challenges.
  • You enjoy customer facing conversation and solutioning
  • You have in-depth API, Batch and Data knowledge
  • You have rich SQL knowledge and understanding
  • You have decent content creation capabilities for constructing diagrams, workflows and other visual representations that our creative resources can make ready for presentation
  • You are ability to work with less technical team members and different personalities

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience within financial services
  • Proven background in using analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, BI tools
  • Data Science expertise and/or strong mathematical background
  • Coding ability using programming languages like Python, Java or Go
  • Familiarity working with large-scale and NoSQL databases like ClickHouse, Scylla or Cassandra
  • Familiarity with work with traditional RDBMS database architectures like MySQL, Postgres, Aurora or Athena
  • Experience in Entity Resolution and Entity/Identity Graphs

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $165,000 - $190,000 base plus company-based bonus plan and equity.
